WORKSHOP OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MARLIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
Administration Building - 6:30 P.M.

October 19, 2004

CALL TO ORDER
1. The workshop was called to order by President, Lowanda Washington, at 6:32 P.M.
2. Roll call: Ms. Lowanda Washington, Mr. Roger Nutt, Mrs. Byrleen Terry, Mr. Terry Douglas, Mr. David Lawson, Mr. Danny Vickers and Ms. Sonja Washington.

Review Audit - Mr. Preston Singleton with Freemon, Shapard & Story, Certified Public Accountants,
2003-04 presented each Board member with an official copy of the 2003-04 audit. He talked briefly on fraud, which he stated is a big issue in all audits. He then reviewed the MISD audit report with the Board. Questions were asked by the Board members.

Adjourned President Washington adjourned the workshop at 7:03 P.M.
