SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MARLIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
Administrative Building – 6:00 p.m.

September 13, 2005

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by President, Lowanda Washington, at 6:00 p.m.
Invocation was given by Roger Nutt.
Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag and Texas Flag was led by Roger Nutt.
Roll call: Ms. Lowanda Washington, Mr. Roger Nutt, Mr. Terry Douglas, Mr. David Lawson, Mr. Danny Vickers and Ms. Sonja Washington.
Absent: Mr. Gary Gray

Discussion TASB Consultants for Supt. Search Process - Larry Blair, Director of the Executive Search Services at TASB, explained to the Board that the meeting was called to develop a Superintendent Search Calendar. Dates were set and Mr. Blair explained what would take place at each meeting. Mr. Mayo Neyland,Senior Consultant with the Executive Search Services at TASB, and Mr. RichardLiardon, TASB Field Service Representative for Region 12 were also present at the meeting.

Adjourned - President Washington adjourned the meeting at 7:26 p.m.
