BUDGET WORKSHOP
OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MARLIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
Marlin Middle School 5:30 p.m.
June 20, 2006

Call to Order:
1. President, Lowanda Washington called the meeting to order at 5:50 p.m.
2. Roll Call: Mr. Roger Nutt, Mr. Terry Douglas, Ms. Sonja Washington, and Ms. Lowanda Washington. Trustees Danny Vickers and David Lawson were absent.

Budget Workshop Budget 2006-07 - Copies of the 2006-07 budget were passed out to the Board members.
Kim Margoitta, Business Manager indicated that as of this meeting date the budget has been balanced with the exception of a few adjustments. She then discussed an e-mail handout she received from Mike Hagar, Director of Business/Finance, Alamo Heights ISD. He informed the district as long as the district's revenue per WADA in 07 is greater than in 06, partnering is beneficial. Questions and comments were asked by Board members. Plans and the date of the Public Meeting on the Marlin ISD Proposed 2006-07 Budget and Proposed Tax Rate
were discussed.

Adjournment - President, Lowanda Washington adjourned the meeting at 5:55 p.m.
