BUDGET WORKSHOP OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MARLIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
Marlin ISD Boardroom 6:00 p.m.

June 1, 2006

CALL TO ORDER:
1. President, Lowanda Washington called the workshop to order at 6:06 p.m.
2. Roll Call: Mr. Roger Nutt, Mr. Terry Douglas, Ms. Lowanda Washington, and Mr. David Lawson. Mr. Danny Vickers arrived at 6:25 p.m. Mr. Gary Gray and Ms. Sonja Washington were absent.

Budget Workshop - President, Lowanda Washington turned the workshop over to the administration. Ray Matthews, Superintendent stated district administrators and personnel had been working on the 2006-07 budget. Handouts were given to the Board members and the contents were reviewed. Kim Margoitta, Business Manager reviewed the print out of the General Fund Summary. The Board members asked questions and
commented on particular funds in the summary. Plans and dates of future budget workshops were discussed.

Adjourned - President, Lowanda Washington adjourned the workshop at 6:59 p.m.
