Public Hearing of the Board of Trustees
on Schools FIRST, Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas
Marlin Independent School District
Marlin Middle School Cafeteria - 6:00 p.m.

October 18, 2005

CALL TO ORDER
1. The Public Hearing was called to order by President, Lowanda Washington, at 6:00 p.m.
Roll call: Ms. Lowanda Washington, Mr. Roger Nutt, Mr. Terry Douglas, Mr. David Lawson, Mr. Danny Vickers and Ms. Sonja Washington
Absent: Mr. Gary Gray

Overview of Schools FIRST - Mr. Dale Bohannon, Assistant Superintendent of Business and Operations, informed the Board that Marlin ISD received a Superior Achievement on the Financial Integrity Rating
System of Texas. This is the highest rating you can receive. Mr. Bohannon explained the two indicators that the district received "No" on. Questions were asked by the Board members.

Marlin ISD's Rating - Marlin ISD received a Superior Achievement rating.

Public Comments on Report - None

Adjourned President Washington adjourned the meeting at 6:10 p.m.
