SPECIAL CALLED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MARLIN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
Administration Building - 6:00 p.m.

October 25, 2005

CALL TO ORDER
1. The meeting was called to order by President, Lowanda Washington, at 6:05 p.m.
2. Roll call: Mr. Roger Nutt, Mr. Danny Vickers, Mr. Terry Douglas, Mr. Gary Gray, Mr. David Lawson. Ms. Sonja Washington arrived at 6:08 p.m.

Discussion with TASB consultant regarding chief executive officer search process - Mr. Larry Blair had a discussion with the board on the chief executive officer/superintendent search booklet. Questions were asked by the board.

Closed Session - At 7:25 p.m. President Washington announced the Board would go into Closed Session
under Section 551.071.

The Board came out of Closed Session and reconvened to Open Session at 8:25 p.m.

Approve the number of Applicants to be interviewed - Motion by Mr. Roger Nutt, seconded by Mr. David Lawson, to approve the list of applicants to be interviewed as presented. The motion carried unanimously.

Adjourned - President Washington adjourned the meeting at 8:30 p.m.
