NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

A Special Called Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Marlin Independent School District will be held on September 5, 2006 beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Marlin Middle School Cafeteria located at 678 Success Drive, Marlin Texas.

3. Pledge to the American Flag and Texas Flag
4. Roll Call
5. Adopt proposed tax rate for the 2006-07 school year
6. Approve to increase Reserve Fund balance by $674,664.00 to make the total Reserve Fund balance $1,000,000.00 for future capital projects
7. Approve Capital Improvement Project Proposal: Football stadium viewing platform, concrete and site work at the football stadium and Marlin High School
8. Approve Capital Improvement Project Proposal: Chain link fence around and in front of football stadium
9. Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Heart of Texas Workforce Development Board (HOTWDB), Marlin ISD, and McLennan County Youth Collaboration (MCYC)
10. Renewal of Interlocal Agreement with Texas Public Unemployment Compensation Program for 2006-07
11. Closed Session
a. Consultation with attorney regarding pending litigation (Texas Gov't Code Section 551.071)
b. Personnel matters (Texas Gov't Code Section 551.074)
12. Reconvene to consider action resulting from the closed session discussion
13. Adjournment
