Public Hearing of the Board of Trustees
On Schools FIRST, Financial Accountability Rating System of Texas
Marlin Independent School District
Marlin Middle School Cafeteria 5:30 p.m.

October 17, 2006

CALL TO ORDER
1. The Public Hearing was called to order by President, Lowanda Washington at 5:34 p.m.
2. Roll call: Mr. Roger Nutt, Mr. Danny Vickers, Mr. Terry Douglas, Ms. Lowanda Washington, Mr. David Lawson, and Mr. Steve Johnson. Trustee Sonja Washington was absent.

Overview Of Schools FIRST - Mrs. Kim Margoitta, Business Manager informed the Board that Marlin ISD
received a Superior Achievement on the 2004-05 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas. This is the highest rating you can achieve. Ms. Margoitta then explained the two indicators that the district received "No" on. Questions were asked by Board members.

Marlin ISD's Rating - Marlin received a Superior Achievement rating.

Public Comments On Report - None

Adjourned - President, Lowanda Washington adjourned the meeting at 5:47 p.m.
