Marlin Middle School Cafeteria  6:00 p.m.

May 24, 2010

Call to Order - Board President, Lowanda Sias called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

Roll Call - Roger Nutt, Lisa Silvas, Sonja Washington, Lowanda Sias, Steve Johnson. Trustees Tania Baker and David Lawson were absent. A quorum was established for the meeting.

Closed Session - Board President, Lowanda Sias announced at 6:03 p.m. that the board would go into closed session in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Sections 551.074, 551.071 (1)(A) and 551.071(2). The board reconvened into open session at 7:15 p.m.

Personnel Matters, Appointment, Employment, Evaluation, Reassignment, Duties or Discipline - No action taken

Consultation with Board Attorney Re: Pending Litigation Henderson v Marlin ISD - No action taken

Private Consultation with Board Attorney - No action taken

Adjournment - Board President, Lowanda Sias adjourned the meeting at 7:16 p.m.
