The Bulldogs dream of an undefeated district season came true as they did the "stinging" to the Hornets at Gatesville on February 16.

Once more it was balanced scoring for the bulldogs as four players hit in double digits. Leading the way to the 60-51 win was the "Field General," Ashley Anderson with 14 points, eight steals and 10 assists. Ashley finishes district with 119 assists for an 11.9 average per game which led the district.

The "W Boys," Woodson and Watson one more had double doubles with Woodson scoring 13 points and 21 rebounds while Watson had 13 points and 14 rebounds. On the year, Woodson has 266 rebounds for a 9.2 average per game.

Also having a "double double" night was senior Dontel Carroll with 11 points and 16 boards.

Rounding out the scoring were Bernard Washington with four points; David Scruggs with three points and Jeremy Modkins with two points.

Washington's four points gives him 468 on the year for a 16.1 average per game.

So now its off to the playoffs!

The team will play Canton (#12 in the state) in a warm-up game on February 20 before playing for real against the winner of the Giddings/Caldwell game on the 27th.
