 Bulldogs finish Pre-District Season at 13-6

The Fairfield Eagles were down eight at the end of three and outscored the bulldogs 22 - 16 in the final period but it wasn't enough as Marlin closed out the pres-district season with a nailbiter 72-70.

Sophomore Desmond Watson led the team in scoring hitting 10 of 12 from the field and 3 of four from the charity strip to finish with 23 points.

Charles Johnson added 17 points while pulling down 15 rebounds.

The team will begin district play at home on January 15 vs. Cameron.
