Dogs Take Down The Yoe In Overtime

It took "OT" but the Bulldogs stay undefeated in district play with two games to go. A fast paced first quarter saw the bulldogs up by two at 14-12. "Mr. Inside," Dwayne Davis scored seven of his total 13 points in the first period. The second quarter it was more of the same. Run and gun as Cameron outscored the Dogs 18-15 to take a one point advantage at the half.

The third quarter went to the Bulldogs 13-12 so entering the final period we were all tied at 42 each. The final period went down to the last shot as Cameron hit a two at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. BUT in OT it was a stifling defense by the dogs that proved the difference as a tired Yoeman team managed only one bucket - a three by Billy Pittman while the Dogs scored eleven and went onot win the game 71-63.

On the night the Bulldogs were led by Jameus Hartsfield with 19 points, Kendrick Trotter with 14 points and Dwayne Davis with 13 points.

Next up a road game at Rockdale.
