Bulldogs Ground The Rockets

The Bulldog soccer team won once again as they came from behind to ground the Robinson Rockets by a score of 3-1 at Robinson on February 28.

The Rockets were coming off thier first win of the season the night before in overtime, and they came inot this one fired up. They scored early on catching the Bulldogs off guard to make it 1-0.

But not too long after that, Bulldog, Vicot Gonzales slipped one in the net from the outside midfielder position to tie it at one.

And then just before the half, team leading scorer, daniel Ronquillo scored unassisted to put the Dogs up 2-1 at halftime. The second half the Dogs managed to put one more goal in the net, off the foot of Eduardo Becerra - unassisted to make the final score 3-1. Luis Vasquez and Antonio Reyes shared time in the net for a combined 11 saves.

On the night the Bulldogs had 41 shots on goal to keep the Robinson goalkeeper very busy!
