Bulldogs Shoot Down The Rockets!

The Dogs moved to 3-2 in district play with a convincing 8-2 win over the Rockets from Robinson at Legion Field on February 4. Theteam got off to a slow start in the first half, with Hugo Gonzales scoring first off an assist from Luis Vasquez. Jesus Calderon followed, assisted by Vasquez and then the teams leading scorer, Daniel Ronquillo scored with an assist by Gonzales to take a 3-0 lead. But the Rockets fought back and slipped two goals in to make it 3-2 at the half.

The second half was all dogs! The dogs came out barking loud and scored five unanswered goals! Ronquillo with his second goal with an assist from Vasquez; Marco Hernandez scored with an assist from Calderon to make it 5-2. Ronquillo added two more (4 on the night) with help from Vasquez and Marco put the last one in with yet another assist from Vasquez, his fourth on the night.

Next up the highly ranked Trojans from University come calling on the Dogs on February 7. Game time 6 PM
