Ladies Drop Two At Tournament

The Diamond Girls headed to Temple for Tournament play on Saturday, March 15 and things didn't turn out too well.

In their first match up they took on Jarrell and fell 1-6. Jessica Nolte scored the only run and that came in the sixth inning after she had hit a triple and scored on a fielder's choice off the bat of Lauren Vickers.

In the second game the girls took on Granger and fell by a score of 9-2. They scored both their runs in the third inning with two outs. Vickers a single, Randi Kurtz a single to bring in Vickers. Keri Mills drew a walk with the bases loaded to bring in Kurtz. Vickers had two of the four hits. Kurtz went 1-2 and now is hitting .518 on the year. She was injured in the game and is day - to - day.
