Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Updated: January 2, 2021

Marlin ISD takes the health and safety of every student and employee seriously. We also understand the dire need of having our students return to receiving quality instruction from our faculty and staff. As information is released by the state, we will communicate any adjustments or modifications to the plans that we have in place.

As stated in a previous message, we understand your frustration and angst with the ever changing updates, information, and guidelines that are being communicated from multiple sources. We are asking for your continued flexibility, as we continue to tailor our reentry plan to meet the needs of our Marlin community.

Marlin ISD's top priority is the safety and well-being of its students and staff. Please be assured that MISD health professionals have been proactively monitoring information about Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) since the start of the outbreak.

Staff members are monitoring the situation and proactively initiating preventative cleaning and health education as necessary out of an abundance of caution.

MISD also works closely with Falls County Public Health to stay aware of the latest local developments. The district will continue to monitor recommendations from Falls County and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as the situation evolves.
